Mandarin Orange and Bakwa Jellycat Earrings Workshop, 7 Feb, Saturday, 11am - 2pm

Learn how to make, from scratch, this pair of modern cute Jellycat mandarin orange and Bakwa with close guidance from Lixuan, the founder of thepigbakesclay.

In the workshop, participants will: 

1)Observe actual food references while sculpting: real food samples will be provided. 

2)  Learn polymer clay and resin techniques of 1) texturing with a variety of tools 2) shading with different mediums 3) using molds 4) glazing

3) Learn jewelry techniques:  1) wirework - making your artwork into usable charms, 2) the proper way of setting your artwork on earstuds 

By the end of the lesson, participants will:

1) Realise the importance and the power of sculpting with real food references 

2) Acquire useful and practical polymer clay and resin craft techniques to use in their future projects 

3) Acquire useful and practical jewelry techniques to use in their future earring projects. 

4) Bring home their own handcrafted pair of mandarin orange and Bakwa Jellycat earrings in an earring box (choose between earring studs or gold hoop dangles)

The participants will be closely guided by Lixuan, the founder of thepigbakesclay, who will share her opinions, tips and tricks on crafting techniques based on her 13 years of crafting experience. 

All art materials for making 1 pair of Jellycat orange and Bakwa earrings, light refreshments (drinks/light snacks) are inclusive in the workshop fee of $150.

**Extra charges applies to additional embellishments like beads and charms should the participant wish to add these to their pair of earrings**
